Meet our Leadership Team

Del Doherty, PharmD, PhD, MBA

Founder & Chief Executive Officer

Del Doherty is founder and CEO of Prodigy. Del loves solving complex problems. He has spent most of his career in the PBM industry helping patients access the right treatment and partnering with payers to ensure their healthcare dollars go further without sacrificing quality.

Prior to Prodigy, he was committed to aligning the interests of patient, pharmacist, prescriber, and payer as a PBM consultant and, later, cofounder of a national network of independent pharmacies.

As a pharmacist, he has served thousands of patients in a variety of clinical settings for over a decade. A lifelong learner, Del has served in various faculty roles teaching pharmacology, health economics, and research methods to prepare future clinicians for a meaningful career in clinical practice.

At Prodigy, Del continues his passion for service by empowering payers to provide access to efficient and cost-effective care, so that patients can live healthy and productive lives.

Del earned his BA in Biochemistry from Wartburg College, PhD, PharmD and MPH from University of Minnesota, and MBA from Rice University.

Matthew Imes

Co-Founder & President

With over 30 years’ experience in the workers’ compensation industry, Imes is highly experienced in both the claims arena and the vendor side of workers’ compensation. He began his career working for insurance companies and third-party administrators as an adjuster, and moved up the ranks into management.

Imes has spent the last two decades as an executive on the vendor side of the industry, working with clients to ensure satisfaction in all aspects of their programs. Imes was a senior executive for a physical therapy network that grew from 6 million in revenue to over 170 million during his tenure. He then co-founded Adva-Net, which was documented as the fasting growing healthcare company in the nation in 2017.

Matthew brings tremendous experience in developing and growing startup companies to his role as President of Prodigy.

Paul Norkett, MBA

Chief Operating Officer

Paul Norkett brings over 30 years workers’ compensation industry experience, 20 of which have been in executive operations roles. His multi-disciplinary perspective, which spans claims administration, managed care and customer experience, has enabled him to develop and maintain creative and scalable solutions to meet the current and future needs of key industry stakeholders.

With a desire to build start-up organizations aimed at addressing underserved market segments within the industry, Paul brought his experience and perspective to Adva-Net as their Chief Operating Officer. Under his tenure, Adva-Net was recognized as an Inc. 500 company in both 2017 and 2018 for becoming one of the fastest growing privately held companies in the United States.

A servant leader with a strong reputation for developing, managing and providing strategic oversight of high-performance teams, Paul reunites with his former Adva-Net partners, Matthew Imes and Stan Smith to deliver best-in-class service, support and results to all Prodigy customers.

He holds an MBA with a concentration in Strategic Leadership from the University of Dallas, where he also served as an Adjunct Professor in their Graduate School of Business for 3 years.

Kevin Lanphier

Chief Sales Officer

Kevin Lanphier has an extensive background in workers compensation and Auto cost containment solutions.

In the past 15 years Kevin has held senior sales leadership positions with industry leading national PBM and medical payment integrity focused organizations.

In addition, Kevin has led account management teams and is always focused on the client and their needs.

Kevin most recently was sales officer of Equian with annual revenues of $400 million. Organic sales growth was 20% annually. Equian was acquired by United Health Group in 2019 and was integrated into the Optum services division.

Stan Smith, MBA

Senior Vice President of Specialty Programs

With 30 years of executive leadership experience in healthcare administration. Prior to joining Prodigy, he served in an executive capacity with Adva-Net through its acquisition by Paradigm (2014 - 2021).

At Adva-Net, Stan was instrumental in the development of innovative acute and ambulatory care cost containment services. He led the successful launch and management of the nation’s largest (catastrophic injury) specialty healthcare provider network.

Stan has also held executive healthcare admin leadership (both multi-facility and single site) within Inpatient Rehabilitation & Long Term Acute Care Hospitals, Psychiatric and Addiction Hospitals, Skilled Nursing Facilities and Residential Brain & Spinal Cord Injury services.

He has been invited to present at national conferences in a variety of healthcare admin topics, including healthcare billing management, healthcare billing fraud identification and investigation, quality assurance, and more.

Maryann Manning

Senior Vice President of National Accounts

Maryann Manning has over 30 years of Risk Management and Managed Care experience, holding management positions with various organizations including large multi-national manufacturing company, a global third-party administrator and a managed care and ancillary network company.

She has an exemplary record focused on developing and maintaining strategic long-term client relationships to achieve organic growth and meet long-term company objectives.

She has led the rollout and oversight of client programs which generated approximately $100 million in annual revenue in her previous role.
